Meng Prepares a Pre-Painted ZTZ-100 MBT in 1/35 Scale

Meng is preparing a pre-painted ZTZ-100 MBT (Accurate Color Edition) model in 1/35 scale. Kit TS-062a is scheduled for release in November 2026.

The new version depicts the Chinese ZTZ-100 main battle tank and is supplied as a plastic kit with pre-painted sprues. Some parts remain unpainted, while the external camouflage pattern is applied at the factory.

The kit includes crew hatches that can be posed open or closed, clear parts for the lights, periscopes and optical sights, as well as movable weapon and equipment components. The main gun barrel can move vertically, with the coaxial machine gun linked to its movement.

The model’s suspension reproduces the real vehicle’s torsion bars with metal parts. The kit also includes glue-free, single-pin movable tracks that can be assembled using the dedicated tools provided.
